Key Contributions
Reflection on what is working and what you can do better –
Setting goals and following through with my to-do list has worked out well for me. I have also joined a collaborative group with two other students, and we were able to work as a team and discuss ways of driving change in education.
Even though this was good, we could have improved our level of communication, since we are all so busy with our day to day lives, and other assignments, being consistent in this area was somewhat of a challenge. Nonetheless, we successfully managed to gather and give feedback to one another, and applied strategies to enhance our work.
Contributed to, helped build, and provided feedback to your core collaboration group –
My core collaboration group consisted of 2 other classmates. They are: Katelyn Oquin and Cristy Silkin. The 3 of us used a collaborative, digital tool called Murals to exchange ideas and show our work. This was a great way for us to share visuals and problem solve on our day to day or weekly tasks from the class. This app allowed us to make connections with each other and give feedback in a faster and more efficient way. We became more aligned as a small learning community and were able to do so much more than simply texting each other over an iPhone.
Revised all assignments and reflected on revisions in this contribution to a learning activity –
Revising my assignments and reflecting on my revisions allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts that I learned from my work. I was able to identify areas that needed more refining, as well as, letting me see the areas that I grew in throughout the course.
Completed ALL course readings, videos, and supporting resources –
In order to fully understand the course, and reach my goals, I completed all of the necessary readings, videos, and supporting resources. I was able to effectively apply my understanding to the discussions, and my assignments to show what I have learned in this class.
Met the various course activity deadlines indicated in the calendar –
It was absolutely necessary for me to meet the course activity deadlines, so I learned to stay organized and remain on track with the calendar. This gave me the ability to meet deadlines, and stay on top of my assignments.
Accelerated ADL option reflection –
Overall, I feel that the ADL Master’s Program has challenged me to manage a rigorous workload in a fast and furious timeline. Not only have I shown dedication and focus, I have also used my time management skills to meet the requirements, and be successful with the completion of my assignments. This has allowed me to grow as a learner, and has taught me how to follow a timeline and meet my goals.
Supporting Contributions
Took leadership responsibility in your base group and the course –
My leadership responsibilities kicked in when I initiated or led a discussion, guided collaborative efforts, and made sure tasks were completed on time. I always encouraged a positive and productive learning environment. I also supported teamwork, and the ideas or input from my teammates.
Contributed to your learning and the learning of your colleagues by participating in ALL activities –
The fact that I fully participated in all course activities shows that I contributed to my learning and the learning of my colleagues. I engaged in our discussions, and thoughtfully completed my work, and shared my insights to promote collaboration with others .
Active contributions in the various course forums –
I enjoyed sharing in the course forums by giving ideas, asking questions, and engaging in meaningful discussions. This helped me gain a stronger understanding of the concepts that I have learned, and was a great way to support teamwork.
You posted in a timely fashion so others can respond to your posting –
Yes. I posted in a timely fashion so that we could have more discussions, and it gave us all opportunities to share ideas and thoughts with one another. The learning process felt richer and kept the level of engagement high because of this.
Your postings reflect breadth and depth of thinking with research to support your thinking and are cited using APA –
I made sure to use the APA format when it came to citing my research and giving credit to the authors that have shared their knowledge through books, articles, or websites. My reflections and postings were created to show my viewpoint from the resources that I used to back up my ideas and thoughts.
Additional postings were made that did not require research but were rather to contribute to the learning –
I also made additional posts that did not require research, but instead shared my personal experiences and reflections of what I learned. This contributed to the overall discussion and helped others learn as well.

How did you combine your collaborations between courses and what was the impact of doing so?
Not only did I take “ Leading Organizational Change”, but I also took “Resources for Digital Environments”, and combined my collaboration for both classes. In doing so, I was able to share my ideas from one course to the next. In both classes, I was able to use similar digital tools that allowed collaboration and ways to give feedback to my peers. The Mural App that I used for visual collaboration in this class, helped me with strategies that I used towards my other class to apply leadership and organizational change efforts. I was able to engage in conversations more efficiently and this gave me ways to better understand what I learned, and I was able to share my understanding with my collaborative groups.
